Powerful but short lived
This is a strong almond top note molecule. I don't get any cherry from this, to me it is pure, real almonds with the slightly bitter papery skin still on. I do wish it lasted a little longer, I have yet to figure out which chemicals to use to extend the almond note further into a fragrance, but I'm having fun using this one to give an initial almond blast before it gently fades away as the perfume dries down. I have no issues with the 0.25% IFRA restriction, as I find much smaller doses to be more than effective.
26/07/25 Edited to add: I was using this yesterday and oh, boy, do I smell the cherry now. It's crazy how materials like this can create such different effects in different contexts and doses. I do still wish it lasted longer, but that's up to me to find other materials to extend the almond/cherry note into the heart of the fragrance.
