Heliotropin 20% DPG

This is the universal powdery note that has been missing from my formulas! After further dilution in ethyl alcohol down to 10% concentration it only takes six to ten drops to create a powerful powdery floral heart note that works especially well with jasmine, lavender, iris, most musks, sandal, cedar, pine, linalool esters, geraniol esters, and most ambers. In fact I have seen that in many fragrance oil formulas on Perfumer's Apprentice that heliotropin is used as the universal powder note as opposed to something like jasmine absolute. For instance in their gin fragrance oil formula heliotropin is used with cypress, lime, coriander, and rum ether. This proves heliotropin is a universal floralizer that goes beyond being useful for adding a dimension to floral notes with a similar profile. Thus far I have found heliotropin to be useful in fougere, chypre, aromatic citrus, fresh shower gel & marine accords, and even heavier cold weather fragrance formulas. Even though this material is heavily restricted it works wonders in trace amounts. I will have to try the less restricted replacer materials to see how they compare. I'm very glad to have real heliotropin at a reasonable dilution and price thanks to Fraterworks!

Heliotropin is one of the few fragrances I have had difficulty acquiring due to bans, and Fraterworks delivered exactly what I wanted. It is absolutely worth the price, the shipping is surprisingly fast, and I will certainly be buying again because I finally found what was missing for my perfumes.
