Luchetti True Flat Sketchbook™

I must confess, I have not yet taken the brush or the ink to the pages. It is a gorgeous beautifully crafted sketchbook and I’m saving the experience for when i get truly inspired. The book arrived sooner than I expected and exceeds my expectations!

I just started using the sketchbook yesterday. At first, I was concerned because the paper immediately buckled quite a bit when I applied my first wash but after it dried, it settled right down. I love the size of the pages and the way the watercolor goes on and adheres. When I want to lift paint from the paper, it comes up very easily. Even though I only painted on one page, I realky appreciate how nice and flat the book lays. I look forward to dping a painting across two pages. I think I'm going to enjoy filling up this book!

These have quickly become my absolute favorite sketchbooks!!! The touch and feel of the paper is absolutely first class! And the ability to literally drowned any page in virtually any media, and have it not soak through is mind blowing. And for being such an elegant sketchbook, it is surprising how durable these are. Mine so far have held up to countlessly going in and out of bags shoved in the back of airplane seat pockets, and gone in and out of trunks and at worst, they look like a well-worn piece of luggage. You definitely have a customer for life. Thank you for your attention to detail and your innovation. It does not go unnoticed.
