Our inspiration for this tent comes in fact from an ancient Norwegian form of a hut. The Gamme has been used since the first people came to Norway and used by the Sami until today. The Gamme gave shelter and security to the indigenous people over centuries.

That is one solid, huge tent! I came from a lavvo with about the same footprint.
Such a huge, solid Gamme! I pitched it alone for the first time in some wind, and honestly, if you've spent five minutes on YouTube watching how it's done, it's really not that big of a deal.
The day I pitched it, there were strong winds and heavy rain forecast, so I really got to see how well it handled bad weather. I was very impressed!
Can't wait to take it into the Norwegian forests with my dog for some hunting this fall. I've had a lavvo with a footprint of about 4 meters, and the Gamme 8 is only about 30 cm wider, but it feels soooo much more spacious inside!
Going to have some epic trips in this thing this fall and winter!

Couldn’t be happier with this tent. The Oak Brown PC provides for a really great light inside the tent, the quality is superb, the ventilation system is great and it really provides for a home from home out in the wilderness. Its design also means it should withstand the worst of weather with ease and has been tested as such over an entire winter pitched atop a Norweigan mountain. Come spring time they went back to see what was left of it, an it was still standing proud having weathered all those winter storms unattended. That’s good enough for me.
