Ligurian Riviera D.O.P. Extra Virgin Olive Oil

I reordered this oil after having enjoyed a bottle I had previously ordered. That's why I ordered two more bottles; it's luscious! The first time I used it I made basil pesto. I drizzle it over chicken cutlets, pasta dishes and anything I make that calls for an exquisite olive oil for dressing the dish. Definitely a keeper!

I could not get the top off. It kept turning and turning. I spent a lot of time trying to cut into it. I had to transfer to another bottle. The olive oil is delicious but cheap lid.

This is a light olive oil with a delicate and sobdue taste. It is from the hill around Taggia, in the western Ligurian where the olives are dark and very small. Excellent for making pesto and for a salad
