This is a great series!! I couldn't put it down and was sad for it to be over. I can't wait to read more books from this author!

Crossroads of Granite. I found myself fully absorbed in this final book in the Orphans of War trilogy . The story moves across multiple locations affected by the war -England , France, Holland and the Eastern front. It powerfully contrasts the depths of human depravity—particularly in its depiction of life in Mauthausen—with the resilience, courage, and determination of those striving to survive even the most appalling conditions. We are kept closely connected to Nora, Christiaan, and Lisa and as their struggles intensify, so too does our hope that they will survive to witness the long-awaited liberation by Allied forces.

I really enjoy Michael’s writing and thoroughly enjoyed this book. I am about to start the second book of the collection. Thank you Michael for truly great reading.
