Thrilled I Found These Books

My 11YO grandson has asked me questions about WWII but I wasn’t born until long after it ended. That, coupled with the fact that many veterans didn’t speak about their experiences, left me with very little and probably inaccurate information. He has already read a few stories and I’m thrilled he can read about first hand experiences. It’s so much more valuable.

Just listening wasn't enough!

Originally purchased these books on Audible, but quickly decided I also needed actual hardcover copies to reference back to and see the pictures. It is extremely moving to hear first hand accounts of WWII and how it changed the life trajectories of so many. Especially in 2025 it is important we learn lessons from the past, so we can hopefully, be better. Will be purchasing additional copies for loved ones currently in the Air Force. Thank you for undertaking this powerful work.
