OWL CX Reigns in Tournaments

I started playing pickle ball approximately 2 1/2 years ago at the age of 62. being a collegiate singles tennis champion helped me transition after a good 25 years of not touching a racket of any sort. I play with the Owl CX and and have found it an extremely reliable and game changing asset to my play. I believe I am on my fourth or fifth Owl CX as I play an awful lot. In the short 2 1/2 years I have been playing. I have won several state championships at various levels in singles, doubles, and mixed. Probably one of my most notable matches came in the 2024 Lapiplasty-Carvana national championships where I place third in the men’s 3. 5, (champions division) 60 and over. I now play at a nearly 4. 5 to 5. 0 rating and am extremely appreciative of the dependability and trust this paddle has offered. Although I have tried other Paddles, the Owl, CX, in my opinion and experience surpasses all in every category regarding an all-around game. Although there are many Paddles out there, I truly believe for an all-around paddle one cannot beat the Owl CX. I am determined, driven, and spend many hours on the court, but truly believe I would not be at the current level I am had it not been for my exposure to the Owl CX. Top spin, slice, drops; This paddle provides the opportunity for all attributes necessary for winning play!

Owl Good

I am an intermediate pickleball player, and I am happy with my purchase of the OWL CX paddle - which I have been using for a couple weeks now. The paddle absolutely helps me with control, and this has made me better at my doubles game. The paddle's quiet hits - instead of raucous pops - make me feel like a stealthy ninja. Many people I play with have been intrigued by the OWL CX; I often get asked if they can touch it or test it out. My fellow players are surprised by the fairly light overall feel as well as the soft texture of the paddle. I find the OWL CX to be a decent paddle, especially if you are focusing on a "cat and mouse" strategy. Or should I say, "owl and mouse" strategy? Either way, it works well for me!

Honestly, I’ve been avoiding purchasing a “high tier” paddle because I can’t imagine any paddle being worth more than 150. Was really excited about the more realistic price of 130 for this paddle. It finally got me moving from my tent foam paddle and I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend this. Incredible power, control and spin. Such a unique feel too.
