Amazing paddle!

Took a chance on this paddle and was not disappointed. The very quiet nature of the paddle has thrown off many of my opponents. It has decent power and excellent spin. I do wish the paddle came with a cover

From struggle-bussing to dominating

I've grown up playing table tennis and actual tennis. Past few years I've played some pickleball on and off and the past month or two I've really gotten into it. I had a $50 paddle for a while and kept getting frustrated at how often I would lose points because the ball would hit a dead spot on my paddle. It's like the ball would immediately die on contact. I like playing with a lot of drop shots and spin, so this often was a problem for my game. I assumed the pricier $200+ paddles were gimmicks and didn't make much of a change. I saw the Talon X1 - Eclipse paddle and instantly loved the idea of it. I waited for a month before deciding to finally make the purchase. I'm SO glad that I did! There were people at my open play that were always dominating the game, but after making the upgrade I've noticed such a big difference and I'm easily able to keep up with them. The spin on this paddle is crazy! I can finally drive the ball properly, getting speed on it without hitting it out or hitting the net as often. I often win points off of high spin serves. I play in a pickleball community of people who all have nice paddles, but mine clearly sticks out. I constantly get asked about the paddle and have people interested in the material. Most of my games involve people commenting on how unique my paddle is and how quiet it is. I'm seriously seriously SERIOUSLY impressed and in love with my paddle! No more feeling of dead spots, now I'm able to finally play up at the net confidently. I can pick my spots a lot more competently and can feel that I've grown at least 0. 5 DUPR since transitioning and getting used to this paddle. I don't know how other higher end paddles compare, but I can definitely vouch that this paddle was well worth the upgrade and makes the game a lot more fun now. I hope that it lasts me a long time! Aside from the gameplay, it's just a very aesthetically pleasing paddle as well!

This paddle feels super light. When I hit with it, it creates a ton of spin. For a bit, it was hard to control, but once I got used to it, it became a monster. It's my main paddle now. I love it!
