FJ forums strike again

I saw a post about the GMT panels on the FJ forums and had to have one. I like the panel and the idea of mounting it on my FJ's dash but not thrilled about where the holes are on the panel. Let me preface with the fact that I don't have a planned layout yet for my IFAK, admin pouch and CB so I mounted the panel without thinking through screw placement. Some of the screws in their current location are going to block the top row if I need to use it, so I will have to move them to the sides. Doesn't thrill me to have more holes drilled. Not sure why the screw placement was not centered between the rows? Also, the screws are not the best looking for such a nice set up, so I am going to replace them with something flush and paint them. Overall the panel is great and likely work just fine with some tweaks.

Versatility and Convenience

My thought process was to mount something on my FJC dash that has the versatility to adapt to any given situation and satisfying my immediate needs without being too cumbersome. Whether that's mounting an iPad for an easy mobile workstation and/or co-pilot entertainment set-up, packs with various accessories for those off-road, trail treks, etc., etc...you get the picture. This RMP was exactly the piece of hardware I was looking for. It'll serve it's purpose in more ways than one! Highly recommend if you're in need of a mounting point system for your truck.
