The compact case is really great for your pocket as it's so flat and the opener allows you to pull the readers easily from the case, which protects the glasses well, including the right-hand frame, which is incised into the case completely, so that it doesn't stick out and get caught in your pocket. So much better than the collapsible readers that seemed to break after a few months where the joint at between the lens and the over-the-ear portion of the readers didn't hold the glasses in place on your face.
