The Chief Vest Tan

This vest is everything I need in work gear. Its easy to tell it was made with functionality and durability in mind. This vest runs a bit large. Im 6’1”, 210lbs. I had to return/exchange my XL for a L. I would say that i have an athletic build. I like my clothes and gear to fit, not baggy or too loose.

Good quality vests. These are a must buy if looking beyound Carhartt or wolverine vest. And these are made in America.

This is just a first-impressions review, but the Heat Straps Chief Vest has already won me over. I bought it for riding and it absolutely shines there, but the fit and functionality make it something I’ll wear off the bike just as much. The 24oz waxed canvas is unapologetically heavy-duty — blocks wind, shrugs off weather, and feels built for real use. The wool lining adds warmth without bulk. What impressed me most is how comfortable it is while seated. The cropped front and two-way zipper prevent bunching, and the extended rear tail flap actually keeps your backside covered when the wind picks up. And the pockets… tons of storage, all of it genuinely useful and easy to access. I’ve only had it a short time, but I’m already a big fan. It’s built well, rides well, and fits into everyday wear better than expected. Highly recommended.
