I am Pact!

I got my new pact and I’m super excited to use it! I love how light it is and that the wipes store in the handle! The mycelium tabs are an excellent idea as I have been reading how, in low biodiverse environments- like high altitude, the cathole alone is not enough to facilitate break down of waste. The one thing that threw me off a little was the size and shape of the trowel. In the advertising it looked wider and the shovel end attached differently than the one I received. Small details but still a great looking product!

First time out, worked well considering my gut issues

I often have IBS flareups on big climbing days. I bought the PACT kit mostly for long thru-hikes in fragile environments, but where wag bags or packing out TP would create a health risk for me. I test-drove the wipes (and tabs) on a 12mi/5,000ft day after Ethiopian food the night before. So, I'm a tough customer, but one wipe per movement did all right. 1 per cleanup should work on most days; 2 per cleanup on rough days. I left 3 mushroom tabs in the hole; hopefully they help with the breakdown process. Seems like they'll be a big help on a 21-day thru-hike, including one 9-day and one 8-day carry.

Simple design

Overall compact and effective tool. Customer service was also great to work with.
