Perfect Marriage of Smooth Yet Efficient
I've been in the shaving industry for about five years and I've tried all kinds of razors like the Karve Overlander, 1960s Gillette Tech, Rockwell 6S, Henson AL-13, and more. Some razors are absolutely amazing, while others are just too aggressive for my skin type, or just don't work with me as well.
In this same way, I've tried a few Razorock razors over the years, like the GameChanger 0.68, BBS, Mamba .70, and the Daily DOC as of late. The Mamba was the best of these that worked well with my skin type, but at times it just wasn't efficient enough to give me a smooth finish.
Well, as last-ditch effort, I saw this regular Daily Razor and researched which one could possibly work for me...and took a risk on purchasing the head of one of these: the Daily Smooth. And I am proud to say that this might just be THE razor I've been looking for in the last five years of my shaving journey.
This is the perfect marriage of a mild yet efficient razor. The Overlander was my top razor, and the Daily Smooth is just smoother in operation and with the set angle of the Henson AL-13. Have you been looking for a Stainless Steel Henson razor? Well, here you go! But not only that, I connected the base plate of the DOC razor that was quite aggressive to me and put it with the top cap of the Smooth...and I was able to get a bit more efficiency without sacrificing much comfort! Mixing and matching has never felt so good here.
I highly recommend this razor not only as a product for the first-time wet shaver, but even for experienced folks that just want a "stupid easy" shave that can just go on autopilot without much guesswork. I was able to take five days of growth down easily with JUST the Smooth version, and I got an extremely "smooth" shave, pun intended.
I'm just floored with the quality and efficiency of this razor. It's just too good not to try, in my opinion! Best shaves to all!!!
