Porch Balloon Pants

These linen porch pants were way too long on me, besides all the leg fullness so that was a horrible look for my plus size. I can’t even imagine them working because of the too long length. The fabric was heavy, bulky and had no affirming qualities like a graceful drape or skimming shape. I could pay to have them shortened, altered to narrow the leg but I don’t feel the tailoring cost is worth it for my investment. I already have linen khaki full shaped legs capris I like and am happy with from another fashion house that make me feel good when I wear them. The porch pants from Tradlands couldn’t ever do much for me.

I love these pants! I sized them down for a snugger fit and wear them up at my true waistline. Styled this way, they remind me of the vintage sailor pants that I wore in High School, but grown up!

These pants are great. Very comfortable, and I love the shape. The only negative is that the elastic in the waist isn’t really anchored down so it gets twisted up.
