New Favorite

I was very pleased when I opened the package. my new jacket fits perfectly and looks stylish. it is too hot here in southern Maryland to wear it yet, but I can tell it will become a favorite!

Fantastic Stylish Layer

The fit is perfect. The small amount of gathering in the back is a great touch. I love both the snaps and the zipper styling. The denim is a beautiful medium/dark shade. It’s heavy enough to be a decent layer, but cool (in both style and weight) enough to be an open jacket look. Is it a utility shirt or a jacket? Yes, both!

fairly elegant, for a denim jacket

In general, I like this jacket. The fit is good and the material is robust. I like the color too. The pockets are handy and I like the snaps over the zipper for the front closure. The main issue for me is that the jacket is so *heavy*. Also, it theoretically can't be put into the dryer. I usually put everything except bras and tights into the dryer, but I did hang this to dry when I first received it (I wash every new thing before I wear it). After hanging dry it was very stiff, so I tossed it into the dryer on the fluff setting (no heat) and just let it get knocked around in the drum for ten minutes. It came out much softer and nicer to the touch.
