Painted Mountain Corn

Better than the seed packet predicted!

I planted about 20 plants in a couple different plots in 2025. The seed packet predicts plants 4-5 feet tall with "up to" 2 cobs 7 inches long. Some of my plants were well over 6 feet tall, most had 2 cobs many of which were closer to 12 inches long. Some plants were blown over during summer storms but they were still able to produce decent cobs. My plots got good irrigation and have good soil organic matter.
