Bonfire in the Woods
I really love the surprise opening on this, with that full force aromatic basil on top of those layered spices. This feels kind of sticky and smoky like sitting in front of a fire next to an aromatic pine tree leaking sap. It's somewhere between Winter of 99 and Broken Theories, in terms of similarities, but I feel gravitate towards Winter of 99 the most out of the three. However, this is a great option if you're looking for something with a fresher edge.

Surprise favorite
I picked this up almost at random after having chosen 4 different samples I figured I'd like more. I prefer scents that lean more masculine, but the rest were too far over the line. Copper skies is perfect, starts off very spicy and reminiscent of fall, then turns to warm cinnamon and clove, then becomes more sweet and complex. It reminds me of BPALs Port-au-Prince if any BPAL scent lasted more than 5 minutes. I'll be buying a bottle.
