Zoologist Squid Sample

I’ve tried quite a few zoologist samples and this one is by far my favourite. At first it does start out a little salty, but given a few minutes, it turns into a super comfy and warm scent. I’m extremely excited for my full bottle to arrive :D

Shipping from Canada to the US was relatively fast, no complaints there. As for the fragrance, I assumed it was going to be a little like Tom Ford Oud Minerale in the aquatic salty sense. It really isn't, it's slightly sweet but mysterious, and the skin scent is great. Projection and longevity are both quite good. It smells like what I imagine Rapture from Bioshock smelled like, like an opulent 1930s dinner party that's been submerged by the ocean for two decades.

SO good. Aquatic, fresh, inky…. I cant even describe it. I love learning about perfume and the chemistry, so I ordered some interesting scents intentionally. This is something i’d actually wear, not just an experimental scent.
