I started with a 34C 25+ years ago, and have been through a few razors over the years. The GOAT's geometry works very well for me, feels familiar, and like other razors in Razorock's 316L line, is an outstandingly durable and well-designed razor at an affordable price. Move over Game Changer - The GOAT is the new King!

I own every single plate for the Game Changer, and while they are darn good razors, the RazoRock GOAT is the real game changer for me. I’ve used all the "Big Daddies" in the shaving world, but the engineering on this standard GOAT base plate is in a league of its own. The CNC milling is incredibly precise, making it effortless to find the right angle. The safety bar does a brilliant job of elevating the hair just before the blade, which provides an efficiency I didn't think was possible with a neutral-exposure head. For the first time in my 50 years of shaving, I can go Against the Grain (ATG) on my neck with absolute confidence. Following the tips from Geofatboy and "riding the cap," I achieved a BBS finish with zero irritation and zero "scraping." ItalianBarber is a great source for all things RazoRock, and the team is fantastic - from engineering to sales. My only wish is that they had a distribution network in Europe so we could avoid the additional taxes and shipping charges! That said, the quality of the shave makes it worth every penny. If you want a precision tool that delivers a perfect, shock-smooth shave, this is it!

It really might be the GOAT

Seemed like it might be a little too aggressive for me on the first shave, but have had nothing but stunningly close and smooth shaves with it since - think I might have had a dud Nacet on the first shave. It has preformed great with every blade since including another Nacet, Voshkod, German Wilkie, and a Personna Lab Blue. Indeed, it's performed so well that I'm thinking of moving on another stainless razor that I recently acquired at 3 times the price of the GOAT.
