Tin Cloth Short Lined Cruiser Jacket - Castor Gray

My 2nd short lined tin cloth jacket

This is my 2nd shot lined tin cloth jacket. Had the olive color, and got the gray one. Great jacket. Why 4 stars? The cuffs are ridiculously huge. I'm a small in filson jackets (I have many), but the cuff is big enough for an XXL jacket. I added an aftermarket button to make the cuff fit my wrist. Otherwise you can't go wrong with this jacket.

Classic Filson style

This is a great jacket; I own a different color already and got this one on sale. I'm 5'11" and slim / high-waisted, the Small fits perfectly but I'd size up to an M if you're longer in the torso, heavier, broad-shouldered, or planning to layer. The Castor Gray is greenish, closer to olive and goes better with browns / tans / khaki than many blacks and grays, so that's something to keep in mind if you're into monotones. Tin cloth can be a bit of a lint magnet, but this color hides it well. The water resistance is great and I haven't managed to soak it through yet. But if you need full waterproofing tin cloth isn't that without extra treatment. For me it's a good compromise between water resistance and breathability. Stitching is good, reinforced in the right places. I like where the pockets sit, at a good angle for tucking your hands. I've seen complaints about the buttons but I quite like them and not sure what people are on about. It's not made in the USA, if that's a concern for you.

Jacket looks great and overall fits well. Sleeves are a bit longer than they should be so may need to get that tailored but otherwise excellent jacket.
