Fantastic preamp

Without a colour module this is a pristine clean preamp that has 0 color or character…..and that is the point. It’s the perfect clean slate to use the pallet modules to flavor and build the sound you want for what you need. It’s an extremely versatile system. Fun kit to build as well. This and a color pallet together is a pure win in a 2 port 500 rack.

So unique and great sounding

I used this with the Colour Phone by XQP - so much fun!! what a great futz sound to record with - perfect character. the pre amp itself without the colour is clean and beefy and quiet. great gain overall! getting another very soon.
