Bike Mount - 31.8mm High

Love the Route Werks bags, we have three that we move between bikes, so the mounts make sense to purchase. This mostly works well, though I have seen that the tolerances on the mounts are off a bit. I have to adjust the quick release bolt the on the bag between bikes as each mount seems slightly different. Either the clasp is too tight on one mount, or too loose on another. Seems like a manufacturing issue, quality could be a little tighter. Otherwise, very happy with our Route Werks systems!

When I first purchased my handlebar bag, I had the regular mount, but decided to switch to the higher one because my headlight, which was mounted on the side of my handlebar bag, was hitting my thumb when I had my hands on the hoods. Since swapping over, my light is in a more amenable position, and I also have a little extra room to put my tent, etc on my front rack beneath the handlebar bag. Nice!

There was no thinking when I got my third bike I knew I would need my third bike mount this being the high as it gives room to have a handlebar bag underneath. It’s made of good quality metal. I have no issues fitting yet. There’s no moving once it’s torque down and it’s safe to say that if I acquire another bike that I will be buying another bike mount don’t think about it just do it. It’s so convenient swapping over my headlight and GPS unit from bike to bike as well as my bag.
