Grippy, Gorgeous, and Knee-Friendly — Our New Favorite

My partner and I bought these for hot yoga and they've become our favorite mats we've ever owned. The cork is beautiful, and the thickness works for my sensitive knees. I also no longer need my hot yoga towel at all — the mat actually gets grippier as you sweat, so the more I sweat, the better my grip gets, but I don't create pooling even with a solid sweat session. My partner got the larger size, which is great for his taller height and something he really appreciates. He sweats a lot more than I do, so his experience is a little different — his sweat pools rather than absorbing, so he still layers his towel on top to manage the sheer volume. But he's still a big fan overall, loving the beauty and thickness of his mat just as much as I do. I also use mine for yin yoga, and it works beautifully for any type of asana practice — hot or not. Highly recommend!

A solid and firm mat yet padded well enough to comfortably kneel. Non slip as advertised even in a very sweaty practice. I feel totally grounded on this mat, not gripped to it like an open cell rubber mat, rather, a solid foundation and a sense of lifting off it. My practice has strangely felt lighter since using it. I took a risk buying it and I am certainly glad I did. I just love it.

I did a lot of searching for the perfect mat that wasn't toxic but had enough cushion for my joints. I had to return another green brand. When I tried this mat out, I was so HAPPY about my selection. It has more cushion than any mat I've tried and I feel really safe with the cork ingredient touching my skin. Zero Slippage. When Im storing it, It has a light rubber smell that seems like it will wear off and a hint of a pleasant wood shavings smell when doing yoga on it. It's slightly heavier than what im used to but it's totally worth the extra weight in comfort and safety. I had a strap that I was able to use with it. You will need a strap of some kind. I no longer keep my mat in the hot car. I bring it in after class, wipe it down, let it dry (it does very quickly) and store in my room out of the heat and sun. Im very pleased and have recommended the brand to friends and family.
