Great lighter yet complex fragrance

I was recommended this by one of the associates at Valencia location, and very thankful for that! Highly underrated fragrance indeed. It opens with a sharper minerally cypress but calms down quickly to a smooth smokey salty character that has a hint of citrus freshness. It is more of a skin-scent, not loud in any sense but whispers of complexity. The inspiration is salt flats but it has an ethereal character to it which is called out in the back story; "Moonlit salt flats in Utah". It's a romantic notion, but I was really just looking for something salty/marine to wear for a more active lifestyle in warmer weather that doesnt scream "aquatic". I think this one hits those requirements. I've read this one is a mixed bag on how it reacts to individual chemistry, so i'd encourage you to try it on skin rather than paper.

Scent Trunk does it again

This is a really unusual warm weather scent - salty, but not aquatic. I intend to buy a full bottle when July hits and everything else feels cloying...this scent is just so fresh (but with that hint of gunsmoke to keep things interesting). Also, of the six or so samples I recently bought, Salt was by far my partner's favorite on me, FWIW.

Summertime

Love this fragrance and how its layers unfurl throughout the day. It smells good in all states. Aptly named.
