16-Piece Executive Knife Block Set

Knife set first impression

The knives themselves are really good but I’ve had 2 problems with the set. #1 the wood block has Sap or some residue on it and number 2 the wood block it’s self did not fit one of the knives comfortably. The chefs knife only fit in one hole but so did the Nikiri so I had to leave the chef knife out of the wood block. The knives are very pretty and incredibly sharp so I’m very excited to get to use them. I have yet to get much experience with them so I’m excited to see how they preform over time but those are two of my main concerns for the price and hand made quality.

Really sharp and beautiful, only issue was a few of the knives had chips.

I got these for my husband for Christmas. He used to be a gourmet chef so he knows his knives and knows that the Japanese makes the best knives and he loves them. These are the sharpest and most beautiful knives we've ever used and they have a great balance to them as well which makes anything your cutting effortlessly and a joyment. I am very happy and pleased with this purchase and that I could get my husband a set of knives that he could use and enjoy because he really deserves it.
