Air Popped popcorn

Since childhood, a pan of popcorn made at home was the Drive-In treat. Always salted and buttered. Did not like yours, very dry, apparently air popped with added cheddar powder. Needed a light touch of oil/butter to give the popcorn a rich flavor.

It had good flavor but the popcorn was almost not cooked fully so therefore it was really tough.
