Caramel Cashew Popcorn

My hubby goes nuts over popcorn with nuts. The flavor and crunch have won him over for the carmel cashew popcorn. I haven’t alerted him to the fact he can get bigger sized bags than the 6oz. Snack bag.

There were only 3 cashews in this bag.

I order 8 different flavors, about 1/2 with nuts. The ones with nuts had few, if any, and the ones that did the nuts were loose in the bottom of the bags. I had to dump them into a bowl to get to the few nuts that were there because they were not adhering to the popcorn the way it should be if added to the caramel while still hot and fluid. When I make caramel corn at home and add nuts, I do it while the caramel is still molten and hot so it adheres and coats the popcorn together. They do however use mushroom corn, which I love for caramel corn! The savory popcorns were good, especially the cheese. I plan to order more, just not with nuts.
