I have been toying with either a Nanu or atom 30l to supplement my 50l atom + which i have used for a couple of years now. After few different uses i am glad i went Nanu. As a hiking pack it ticks all my boxes of a stripped down minimalist pack with a few added features. The zipped pocket is great, although a snapped the key clip, but prefer a larger carabiner anyway. One thing i would change is the internal pocket.a couple of press studs or hook and loop tabs would help here, as i have to pop my hand into the bag sometimes to get larger items in the pack. Other than that, a perfect little pack.

Nearly perfect

To be honest I should give this 6 stars since I won it in a competition. I'm never that lucky and therefore I shouldn't give any critique. However. The bag has been in my everyday use now for almost two months and I love it to bits and honestly it is reeaally close to the full 5 stars, but I've noticed one or two little things. Well... one. As Stephen with four stars said I also think the laptop sleeve could be deeper in the bag even though I don't really mind that much that the bag does not sit upright. There is almost always something to lean it to. But it would most likely fix my actual issue which dropped that fifth star. Because the Roll Top Zip Pocket is hidden between the top of the laptop sleeve and Your back and is actually fairly large in size, which is great. But as the laptop sits fairly high in the sleeve (I have a small and slim one, MacBook Air), if You carry anything a bit bulky in the pocket and You have Your laptop in the sleeve the stuff in the pocket will press uncomfortably against the top of Your back. I have to arrange the stuff in there to manage without it being too big of an issue, but it's still there. There You go. Absolutely fantastic good looking backpack for daily use and with just a small little tweak it'd be nearly perfect. Thank You Atom Packs!
