TRANSIT TRAIL SIDE MOUNT LADDER - HIGH ROOF

We needed a ladder for our Transit Trail HR, and this was our best choice. We already had the excellent and easy to assemble Unaka rack.

It's OK, it gets the job done, but it's a bit janky in the way it bolts to the running board and it's nearly impossible to get a wrench inside the bottom rung to tighten the nuts. There is no way to adjust the height so just cross your fingers and hope that everything on your van fits. I had to use a ratched strap to get mine to fit. Where I have it installed it just sticks off the end of the running board and looks like an afterthought, not a custom design. Also, as typical for Unaka, did not come with all the necessary hardware.

Love our new Transit Trail side Ladder. The assembly and installation was straight forward. The quality is great, and it fit perfectly on our HSLD roof rack.
