BEGINNER PUMPKINS ~ Online Cookie Decorating Class

Fun class!

This is my second attempt ever at royal icing, and I am having so much fun! My first attempt was with her beginner Christmas class. I made the cookies with just white sugar and made the icing with lemon juice, following her recipe. They were so yummy!! This attempt was the beginner winter class, my cookies used the white/brown sugar mix version and my icing was with water and almond flavoring (per my wife’s request). This batch was also very tasty! Her class is easy to follow and her recipes are so yummy and customizable. I am going to keep practicing and experimenting! Thanks Graceful Baker!! This is definitely a fun new hobby!

So, this is my new obsession

I made these for Thanksgiving and my teenage niece said they looked like "AI" which I'm taking as a huge compliment!! Everyone was so impressed. The class did a phenomenal job at setting me up for success.

I have never made decorated cookies and decided at age 65 I would give it a try. I loved this class! Everything was prepared in a logical and easy to follow format. I loved having the PDF and the videos wo learn from. And for a first attempt, I am super happy with how they turned out! And the recipes for cookies and icing are delicious. I can not wait to take the beginner Christmas class.
