I started the seeds indoors in March and transplanted in mid=April in well-tilled soil. The seedlings took a while to adjust and start growing. It's now mid-June, and I'll be harvesting some beautiful blue-green heads for market this week. The plants do like nitrogen and a lot of soil moisture, so keep fertilized and well watered for best results.
