First time growing popcorn, so far looking pretty good. It was planted May 20th and as of August 16th it was 10 feet tall and 2-3 cobs a plant. I did top dress it 3 times with urea for a boost of nitrogen. I may have planted seeds to close as I did not have a proper popcorn seed disc for my planter. I can tell some of the stocks are not as big around as I would like because of it. With small adjustments this could easily be fixed. I cultivated once a week to keep the weeds in check as well. Very happy with this product so far

Loss
We planted our popcorn and was eager to plant the seedlings, but a storm came and wiped out our greenhouse and everything in it. We will probably order more seeds next spring.

Best popcorn ever
I love eating popcorn that I make myself. I have been cooking popcorn for more than 60 years. Three years ago I planted my own crop of popcorn for the first time. Top Pop F1 Seed. I purchased 1,000 seeds and had a lovely crop. I got about 100 pounds of seeds that pops beautifully. I have a new crop that is about 2 feet tall on June 23, 2024. I expect to harvest at least 100 pounds again. The corn plants are beautiful, but you can't harvest them until they are dried out, then I shell them by hand. I can wait because I have to. I am still eating from my crop two years ago.
