Early Melon

This is a cross of a honey dew and a muskmelon. Diplomat is a progeny and very similar in appearance and flavor. The inside color is slightly different between Passport and Diplomat. I discovered Passport several years ago when I read about the melon to plant in the mountains of Colorado. I start plants inside about May 1st and transplant them in June when the threat of frost is past (we live in Northern Minnesota on the Canadian border. Diplomat and Passport will be your first melon, regardless of what watrmelonor other melon you grow.
