Broccoli Diplomat F1 Seed

I've tried lots of broccoli and I keep coming back to these. They form a massive head, but then come back a few weeks later with side shoots. If you keep up with them, those continue, progressively smaller and smaller until the plants die back from the cold. Great flavor and texture. Just be aware they need a lot of water to really form a beautiful head.

New Veggie For Me, But Next Year 2X!

Thus was my first time growing broccoli. I germinated only 6 plants in my greenhouse, and they were vigorous growers and transplanted into the garden w/o issue. They produced nice dark heads of a medium size, and last week I harvested them all. They had a very nice mild tasting flavor. Next season I will plant this again but make 1 or 2 more plantings to elongate the season. Also, netting will be used to cover them to keep the bug population away. It took a lot of time looking for creatures.
