Love the pattern, But...
As stated in the title I love the pattern. I also ordered the Mini Saber vanes, through Amazon because I could get free shipping. Vane adhesive is a pain in the butt. I followed your video too a T and still get marginal results. I feel like the radius on the vane base is to tight. They will not readily conform to my Altra .246 shafts. You really have to baby sit them through the whole drying time, and still I have places that don't stick well. So I'm not sure where the issue is. Is it the vane material or the wrap finish. I wipe both with alcohol before applying the vane, so both surfaces are clean. I cut one vane down to the base tuning broadheads, so they fly good, but when I went to peel them off to refletch they came off rather easily with pliers. Leaving the wrap intact. I've used Q2 vanes for years now, and when you tear one of those off, it take the wrap with it, they bond like super glue on on two fingers!
So the vanes fly good, the wraps look good, but at this time I probably wouldn't go this route again.
Thanks.
