HYDE

I was able to put one of the 100grn Hyde’s to work earlier this week. I killed a blacktail with one and the head performed well. I shoot a 450grn arrow out of a 72lb bow, 280ish fps. The arrow zipped right through the animal and buried into the rocky ground. The head was damaged (I can only assume from the impact into the ground), ribs were cut on the way in and out of the animal. The ferrule is still straight and with some replacement blades, it will be back in my quiver. This is the third brand of mechanical head I have tried and I think I have finally found the one to stick with. Reliable blade retention and deployment, sharp out of the package and a legitimate cut on contact hybrid design.

This and the Whitetail fury are the best broadhead I have ever used. I always seem to try something new every year and I don’t think I will be changing anytime soon. Awesome product. Excellent customer service couldn’t ask for more.

Tried the Hyde out the other night on a doe and was very impressed with entrance, 14 yard shot went in high in ribcage and hit the opposite leg. Even with high entrance still had decent blood trail
