Not for me
I have never used HIT inserts before, so it could be user error, but these were a major disappointment. I installed them per the video instructions, which were great. But after install, the arrow tip didn't spin true. I think it has to do with too much slack inside the shaft so when you lay them down to cure the epoxy, they essentially settle to one side a little. For context, I installed .165/.166 inserts in Easton Axis 4mm shafts. Should have worked.
I think it's more of a HIT thing than an Iron Will thing. I just wish there was a way to ensure the insert is centered and spinning true before it's epoxied in the shaft. These did seem high quality, super consistent weights, etc. $220 in ruined arrows. Going back to insert/outserts.

Top notch!!!
Fit like a glove. Easy to install. Weight of each one was spot on. The whole HIT system from Iron Will is well worth your time and money!!!

Indestructible
I mean if done correctly the shaft of the arrow will not break. You may lose an insert but that beats losing an arrow to shaft splintering or blow outs. Lost one hit insert to a thick piece of plywood glued a new one in and the arrow shot straight. Love my Rip Tko iron will components set up. Keep it up guys great products!
