Super easy beautiful skirt. I made it knee length and it’s lovely.

Great beginner pattern but not for my body type

This was only my second garment i attempted. In loved the design so I had to try it. The pattern was very clear, instructions easy to follow and the video was particularly helpful. Unfortunately, this skirt doesn’t suit my body type. I have big difference between my waist and hips so the pleats open up into more of an A line shape. I tried to stitch them down but then I couldn’t move. The fabric is a cheap ish cotton, so using something with a bit more drape would probably help. This will be great for someone with narrower hips. U
