Pleasantly Surprised

I received this product as a freebie along with my order of the 3pc Lip Stains. As an oily combo skin girly I was thankful for the gift but not wildly hopeful I would get much use out of it especially with the summer approaching. Out of curiosity I decided to give it a shot, and I am so surprised and happy to report it is actually really lovely. It melted into my skin even after a few layers of skin care and spf, and left the perfect satin look and feeling behind. I half expected it to be a very thick and balmy, waxy consistency, almost oily, but is not heavy or cakey in the slightest! I love applying it under my eyes and on my dryer perimeters like the sides of my nose and around my mouth. It truly feels like nothing on the skin and shockingly helps my makeup sit perfectly. I even use it by itself and under tinted moisturizer as a primer. I would have never picked something like this out for myself typically, but I am so happy I got to try it. I really do recommend it for anyone in the market for this kind of product or just looking to try something new!

I’ve been loving the Juicy Glow Prep & Hydrate Balm Stick from Mango People. It gives my skin the prettiest healthy glow without looking greasy or overly shimmery. I use it both under makeup as a prep step and on no-makeup days when I just want my skin to look fresh and hydrated. It glides on so smoothly, feels lightweight, and instantly makes my skin look more awake and dewy. I also appreciate that it’s clean, easy to throw in my bag, and perfect for quick touch-ups throughout the day. Such a simple product, but it makes a noticeable difference!
