4th Batch 5 gallon Heff

This is my 4th batch of Heff and I keep playing with fruit. This time I added 2-lbs of Japanese plums, blended and pulled the pits. The plums have a very sweet fruit inside and a very sour skin. I added the blended mix right at the beginning of the boil. I strained the wort using a 5 gallon paint net (Home Depot) 2 nets for $3.50 and you can rinse the nets out and reuse them several times. The sugar in the fruit ended up bumping the ABV to 6.1%. It took an extra week of aging (3 weeks) Before the flavor really came out! WOW! The sourness of the skin comes through as an after taste and it’s fantastic! Thank you Craft a Brew!

Love hefeweizen overall, but love the one I keep making with Craftabrew the most. Going to mix it up with some fruit next to round.
