High Quality tuning part

I'm really pleased with the Adjustable SpeedCap in terms of what it does and the high manufacturing quality of the part. As a long-time, amateur racket and paddle tech, I appreciate the form and function of the parts. The only reason why I don't have 5 stars for this is that about 2 weeks after I got Slyce Adjustable SpeedCap, they released the new version that improves on the function of the original by making the system now externally adjustable. It is now no longer required to tear the racket or paddle handle down to remove the butt cap and change weights making it much easier to experiment in the field. Had I known this was coming, I would have gladly waited and paid the slight increase in price. I was lucky in that what I chose for weight (the 10g weight) was sufficient to change what i wanted on the new Ripple V2 (1.14) to change the balance to a point where I could add perimeter weight and still have a quick balance to it - something that all reviewers have commented on regarding that paddle model. In short - great product, just know what you're doing to minimize tuning labor headaches ... or buy the externally adjustable unit!

Let’s just say this, ever since this product was introduced, I have installed it on all my paddles. My paddles carry a relatively high static weight (>9.5oz) and this product allows me to have that weight without feeling that way. Could I put a little lead tape inside of the handle cavity? Probably, but the Slyce is just a more elegant solution. One note on the adjustable version; when I first installed it, the weight came loose. On the reinstall I put a little BLUE Loctite on the threads and no more problems. Awesome product.

Delivered one day later than USPS stated. Installation was a breeze and now I can't wait to try it out on the court.
