Japanese Marking Gauge | Double Blade

I like Japanese style marking gauges and have a need for mortise gauges quite often. My former mortise gauge was hard to adjust, and gave inconsistent marking grooves so I wanted something better. This is in the right price range and works really well right from the start. I did do an initial sharpening of the blades before starting, but not sure this was really necessary. Good quality for the money and a whole lot better than the E-bay version I had before. Test cuts made after layout with this tool are accurate, plus it's easy to set up.

Haven't used the marking gauge yet but these saws are the best I've used.

The quality and craftsmanship of marking gage is superb. You could buy cheaper one on Amazon but that is a hit or miss. The quality control of all the products purchased is top notch!
