Timber Framing Saw | Crosscut | 390mm

This saw is amazing, it absolutely romps through wood! I enjoy both Western push saws and Japanese pull saws, but this saw has reminded me that pull cutting is excellent for timber framing, especially with the angled handle. This saw is a handsaw, not a magic wand, and it cuts so fast that you can make mistakes fast if you are not closely supervising it and using good strategy, especially on 45° cuts. I do wish Temple Tools would make a non-impulse hardened, fillable heirloom saw -- but this saw is so good and will stay sharp so long, that if you timber frame you should get it even if you prefer resharpenable tools. You can join me in ~5 years in trying to sharpen it with diamond files!

Great saw. Very sharp, nicely made. I’ve tried a few different brands, and this is by far the best, ive come across with and affordable price.
