Warthog 30

Excellent full-feature technical 30L pack!

Just back from a trip to the Tetons using this pack. It excelled at everything. From car-to-car scrambles, to carrying an axe, to carrying a rock gear load with rope, to lead climbing performance. Very lightweight, but all of the right features. The buckles were easy to use, the rope strap super secure, and the stash pocket and key clip were handy. The only drawback is the frame length fit for me being 6'2" with a long torso. In order to keep the pack on my hips when loaded the sternum strap was nearing my neck at full adjustment. This is understandable for a 30L fixed frame superlightweight pack and didn't affect the overall performance. Also, the material was very light but incredibly durable when scrambling/brushing rock like the Eye of the Needle squeeze and chimney pitches. This is my new go-to brand!

The Warthog is a top notch mountaineering pack! Sturdy construction, waterproof, carries well,... this pack has everything one needs from a pack in the mountains (and, nothing you don't)! On top of it all, it's a great looking pack! I loved this pack so much that I purchase two 30L and two 45L packs. I highly recommend that you purchase one or more,.. you will NOT regret this pack!
