I've never had this pepper before, was using it for a Cheese Straw recipe, had to look in a lot of places to find it here. It's so good, gives a nice tangy peppery flavor to the crackers.

Aleppo pepper flakes add a mild heat but provide a great deep flavorful taste to many recipes. They do not overpower like red pepper pizza flakes can. Especially good on eggs. Give them a try, you'll like it.
