A+++
After the delivery debacle, the wait was worth it. Weight is great at my lower back, lots of room for my items and even a freezer pack to keep the water cold extra long

Impressive kit
Have to say - impressed. I have exacting standards and own a wide variety of hydro packs for different MTB applications. I've put in two solid rides w/ the Epic 14.4 and have nothing but praise for the product thus far. Usually there's something "dumb" on any pack - length of hydro tube, location of magnet clip (or lack thereof), poorly configured pockets, whatever. I can't really find anything "dumb" on this pack. Comfortable, stable, ample tube length, best-in-class 4L bladder (what?!), and what appears to be bomber material and workmanship throughout. I think price is fair when compared to comparable products/brands in the space (i.e., EVOC), especially taking into consideration the included hydro system (many charge extra for that, and/or they're impossible to find/chronically out of stock - i.e., EVOC!).
It's a novel product that fills a unique niche in the space and delivers with a capacious, functional piece of MTB-specific kit. The best endorsement is always repeat business - just bought a 10.3 for my wife, I think she'll dig it.
Central Coast company - even better. Happy to support. SLOSH '89! :)

Happy.
To be honest I was apprehensive, this pack looked different than anything I'd ever seen, so I held off getting one until I saw enough reviews to take a chance.
I've ridden with it about a dozen times, yes, I recommend this hydration pack, and yes, it's comfortable, and well made.
