Ameritool - 12 in. HD Lap Grinder Machine

Love it

I love my lap grinder. I used it to get a straight edge on a dish and it was so much easier than using a wet tile saw. It is a bit heavy to be portable. I am looking for a rolling cart b/c I don't have a permanent home for it in my studio.

Ideal tool for any small glass studio

After having spent countless hours coldworking items with grit and handpads, i am now the proud and very satisfied owner of this invaluable tool. I set aside five unfinished projects before this purchase (in order to test this eqipment's viability) and can tell you the grinder works exactly as expected! Super quiet, very little overspray, small footprint, easy disk swapping, simple cleanup, and is an incredible effective time saver. My only regret is not having purchased sooner.

TRULY THANKFUL

This grinder is just what I was looking for! Kiln Frog is amazingly reliable and I will trust them with my future glass needs. The grinder is so quiet!!!! So much of my glass coldworking equipment needs ear protection, not this grinder!! I love how easy it is to setup, use, and clean up. I own lots of glass coldworking machinery and this is one of my favorites!
