The bunka is everything I looked for in my first serious Japanese kitchen knife and has very good value. Overall, the bunka feels like a balanced mix between traditional and modern Japanese kitchen knives. The stainless steel and pakkawood require only minimal care, the balanced handle, and the thin 17cm blade allow for controlled, precise cuts.
