Probably an ok bracket on new construction with blocking between studs. Ended up not going a different direction. Waste of money

Lego Shelves

I built some floating shelves to hold my son's legos in his room. I used the slim bracket. The process was easy in regard to using my router table to hollow out the back (just make sure to take graduated passes, going deeper each pass). It was easy to install and they work great. I did have to adjust the shape of my shelves to get them to sit right as my wall was warped.

Mixed

The actual rails that make up the cleat system are great. When locked down they’re super secure, and really do support a lot of weight. I really like the product for floating shelves that die into a corner. Because the shelf can slide along the cleat on the wall it makes scribing super easy. I do have an issue with the packaging when the cleats arrive. I’ve purchased a few sets of Hovr brackets, and each time it feels like someone has grabbed a handful of different screws and whatever set screws are near them and thrown them in a used plastic bag. This most recent package only had two set screws for two 4’ Hovr brackets. I would like to see some consistency with what’s provided. Overall, great product!
